Following its presentation at the Saint-Laurent space on Rodeo Drive, the Flora Incognita series by Vincent Fournier is now on display at Galerie XII Los Angeles, located at Bergamot Station.“Imagine a parallel world, close to our Earth, but where the plant kingdom has evolved in an entirely different way. In this alternative universe of potentially habitable exoplanets, plants find their astrobotanical double shaped by other magnetic, gravitational, or atmospheric forces.” Flora Incognita is Vincent Fournier’s new uchronia, a speculative herbarium dedicated to possible forms of vegetation, at the crossroads of art and botany.
